Accessibility
The Bradford College websites aims to meet a minimum of W3C Level 2 compliance in line with the Web Accessibility Guidelines.
Please contact the Webmaster if you have any issues accessing the information on our website, or if you wish to give us feedback about web accessibility.
We aim to make our websites accessible and usable for people of all abilities and disabilities.
For example, many people use assistive technologies to allow them to view websites in colours that are easier to read, with larger fonts or as spoken text, or to navigate around a website with a keyboard rather than a mouse.
We have prioritised the following items:
- consistent Bradford College header and footer navigation
- our navigation is coded as lists to make sure they can be read by screen readers
- heading elements (H1, H2, H3) are used throughout the website
- images have an alt attribute to describe their content unless they are purely decorative
- presentation is separate to content and is controlled by stylesheets
- all forms are coded to have labels linked to the right input field
